LOCATION:

Situation

The taula of Sa Comerma de Sa Garita is some 75 m from the megalithic sepulchre of "Ses Roques Llises" and some 800 from the Talayotic village of "Torre d'en Galmés", on the left of the cart road that starts from the asphalted way that leads to this old town, from the km 2.5 of the highway from Alaior to Son Bou, once it arrives to it.

DESCRIPTION:

Half hidden for the vegetation and for a heap of stones, only the stone-capital and the superior part of the stone-support are visible.

CHRONOLOGY:

Talayotic III (800-450 B.C.) (see the taula of "Bellaventura").


NEIGHBOURING MONUMENTS:

Next to it, it is the stranger monument (for someone, an enormous "columned room") that gives it its name, a group of more or less aligned "doors" with enormous lintels sustained by means of polylithic and monolithic pilasters.
