LOCATION:

Situation

At some 200 m of the houses of "Torralba Vell", very near the Talayotic village of "Torralba d'en Salort", located at the kilometre 2.9 of the highway from Alaior to Cala en Porter.




MUNICIPAL DISTRICT:

Alaior.


DESCRIPTION:

Well with a more or less oval section and some 47 m of depth. It has 9 stairway flights that descend, in zigzag, for one of the walls. Each step has an approximate width of 1.20 m, and, starting from the second tract, there is a handrail of some 0.50 m of width. In the bottom, there is a basin where the water of the filtrations would be tacked up.


CHRONOLOGY:

It was probably dug during the Talayotic I (1400-1000 B.C.)

Talayotic village of "Torralba d'en Salort". "naveta of intermediate pattern" of "Torralbet".
